Freesat allowes you to receive Free To Air Channels just like FreeView But it works Through your Satellite dish, Not through your TV Aerial

All you need is a Freesat enabled tv or a Freesat box

There are different types of Freesat box available Some Freesat Boxes have the letters PVR.

This enables you to record one channel while watching another, Most Freesat Boxes require two cables wiring from your dish (twin sat)

A Standard Freesat box, only need a single cable connecting to a sky dish but is not able to record.

There are 2 types of Freesat Box one is called standard defenition & high defenition.

For most uptodate Freesat boxes you can run a maximum of 8 single cables from one dish off an octo LNB.

But you can mix & match standard & PVR type Freesat box to any one dish
